Rescue
At 3 Sisters Equine Refuge, our rescue journey begins where hope is nearly lost—feedlots, auctions, and neglectful environments. We identify at-risk horses, often bound for slaughter, and intervene to bring them to safety.
Rehabilitate
Once a horse is rescued, we begin with a full physical and emotional assessment. We give each horse the time and space they need to recover from neglect, abuse, or the trauma of the slaughter pipeline. This process can be slow, and very expensive. We are committed to rebuilding confidence, restoring health, and preparing each horse for a safe, loving future.
Rehome
Every horse at 3 Sisters Equine Refuge deserves a second chance—and we take great care to make sure it’s the right one. We prioritize safety, compatibility, and long-term commitment to ensure our horses never face harm or uncertainty again. Our goal is not just adoption—it’s forever.
